Talent Branding Specialist
NBCU
New York, NYThis is a Full Time Job
The Talent Branding Specialist will help shape how candidates experience NBCUniversal's employer brand, bringing our people, culture, and creative possibilities to life across digital, social, video, and recruitment channels.
In this role, you’ll create and produce content that shows what’s possible here: the teams behind our biggest wins, the reach of our work, and the opportunities that make NBCUniversal a place to do work you’re proud of at a scale that only exists here.
Responsibilities:
• Content Strategy & Creative Production: Lead the development of video, photo, and multimedia storytelling that brings NBCUniversal's employee experience to life across the careers site, social, blogs, email marketing, and other recruitment channels. Own the process from concept through execution, shaping work for priority talent segments and supporting a clear, compelling candidate journey.
• Here You Can & Brand Voice: Translate the Employee Value Proposition and Here You Can guidelines into clear, authentic stories that resonate with target talent. Maintain a voice that feels consistent, human, and distinctly NBCUniversal.
• Design & Brand Asset Development: Develop and execute on-brand visual assets, including social graphics, event collateral, and quick-turn creative requests while maintaining a consistent, high-quality visual standard.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Creative Direction: Serve as a strategic partner between Corporate Communications, Early Careers, Human Resources, Talent Development and other internal partners to deliver feedback, guidance, and direction rooted in Here You Can principles. Help teams shape storytelling that is clear, candidate-focused, and aligned to our employer brand.
• Project Management & Cross-Functional Partnership: Oversee production timelines, budgets, and resources while partnering with internal teams and external vendors to bring ideas from initial concept to final execution. Present work clearly, gather feedback, and help move projects forward with a high standard of quality.
• Insights & Story Development: Partner with the broader Talent Brand team to translate audience insights into fresh story angles and content opportunities, using data to shape creative decisions and inform how stories are captured and told.
• Innovation & Emerging Technology: Stay close to digital storytelling trends, formats, and tools, including AI, to find smarter ways to create, scale, and strengthen content that connects with candidates.
Qualifications
Here you'll need:
• Experience: 3 years in creative production, marketing, or employee communications, with a portfolio showcasing video storytelling and multimedia content.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, digital media formats, and production management tools.
• Storytelling & Strategy: Proven ability to turn employee stories into engaging, audience-first storytelling, with an understanding of how to tailor messaging to different platforms and talent segments.
• Project Management: Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines in a highly matrixed environment.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or equivalent experience.
You’ll thrive here if you:
• Enjoy bringing ideas to life across formats, from video to social to emerging content and are always looking for new ways to tell a story.
• Have a strong understanding of employer branding and how content shows up across social and recruitment channels.
• Use data and insights to shape your thinking, refine your approach, and make your work stronger over time.
• Are comfortable navigating input from multiple stakeholders, finding a way to bring different perspectives together while maintaining a clear point of view.
• Can pivot quickly when priorities shift, feedback evolves, or a new opportunity comes into focus.
• Feel confident presenting your ideas and tailoring how you show up, whether you’re working with peers, partners, or senior leaders.
• Are curious about new tools and technologies, including AI, and open to experimenting to improve how work gets done.
This may not be the role for you if:
• You’re uncomfortable balancing multiple inputs or adjusting creative based on stakeholder feedback.
• You’d rather execute pre-defined concepts than help shape and evolve ideas from the ground up.
