Responsibilities
NBCUniversal's Creative Partnerships, One Platform Creative team is seeking an Executive Creative Director to lead our content development to the next level. This position will innovate branded content, advertising, and brand creative beyond traditional creative formats, and develop content ideas that break the mold. This position will lead teams of both internal and freelance creative support including creative directors and writers (strategic and creative) required to produce assigned projects. The right candidate should have not only a strong foundation in concepting, writing, and visuals for advertising and promotion but also a proven track record of innovation and management of creative roles. This role requires the ability to quickly gain the deep organizational knowledge of working across multiple teams within the ad sales organization of a large media organization. Excellent presentation, relationship and leadership skills, a high level of organization, detail, and time management, as well as the ability to find efficiencies in processes while simultaneously working on multiple fast paced projects are essential.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop innovative, high-level creative ideas the team can implement to meet partner brands' KPIs
• Manage a team of creative directors and copywriters
• Innovate opportunities to create content that can be monetized
• Review concepts to vet for innovation and scalability before they go to marketing
• Report out and share work on a consistent, organized basis with VP, Creative who will provide high level steerage
• Work with the Strategy Team to ensure execution is in line with the content strategy without being territorial or compromising a clear creative vision.
• Partner with the design team who will provide input and collaborate on graphics
• Work with production team on shaping and scaling ideas based on target budgets and timelines
• Work with production team on sourcing vendors and overseeing editorial, sound design, color correction and motion graphics work
• Provide creative direction during shoots
• Drive interdepartmental collaboration and sharing of learnings across accounts and Portfolio wide conglomerate of networks
• Present creative ideas & concepts concisely and effectively during pitches internally and externally
Qualifications
/Requirements
Qualifications:
• 10 years of experience creating video content and creative advertising campaigns
• Management experience of creative teams or individuals required
• Ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines as well as able to multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Must be excellent communicator
• Ability to travel and work on weekends as required by ongoing projects
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
