You’ll Be Joining
You’ll be part of the global team that helps bring our enterprise-wide talent development strategy and learning and development experiences at NBCUniversal’s corporate university, the Talent Lab, to life. This role supports Talent as they navigate key transition points in their career from new hire to new leader by delivering learning experiences both virtually and in-person at our Talent Lab. Our days regularly toggle between the big-picture planning and curation of our development experiences to examining the small details that make them a success.
At the Core of this role, you will:
• Serve as the primary project manager on multiple talent development experiences globally focused on developing employees at all levels – whether aligning employees new to their role or building core capabilities for continued career development.
• Design, develop and deliver content using a variety of methods (face-to-face, virtual classrooms, blended learning, mobile learning, etc.) to develop employees at all levels of the organization.
• Communicate with Talent and HR Partners on a timely basis to provide clear updates and ensure alignment with experience goals and expectations
• Collect, analyze and report on data to track attendance, monitor engagement, share insights with Human Resources partners and inform the development and evolution of experiences
• Stay current on company and industry news to inform content and design
• Support the alignment of our global Talent Lab team to deliver experiences with consistency and accuracy.
• Incorporate an inclusive design and facilitation approach that reflects NBCUniversal’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility; bring forward DEIA learning and development content.
Here’s what that will look like for you‘¦
• Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple Talent Lab experiences, including:
• Ensuring a high-quality end-to-end talent experience, project managing everything from timelines to scheduling to team meetings
• Crafting written communication to Talent
• Leading and facilitating experiences and events (both in-person and virtual)
• Demonstrating proficiency in instructional design
• Onboarding new facilitators by managing our train-the-trainer process
• Performing ongoing needs analysis and research to inform content design and program facilitation
• Evaluating experiences both quantitatively and qualitatively to continually make improvements
• Manage relationships across a variety of functions, business partners, and stakeholders both internally and externally (vendors)
• Provide real-time advice to talent, support in-the-moment
• Interpret and deliver leadership assessment results, such as: DISC, Strengths Finder, etc.
• Play in the “white space” – lead brainstorm sessions and execute on truly unique learning for new and existing experiences

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
We’re an enthusiastic team that moves quickly, so to jump on in, we’ll expect that you have:
• At least 4 years of experience with L&OD design and facilitation
• Experience project managing complex learning experiences, regularly balancing multiple projects in various stages of design and delivery
• Experience designing for in-person and virtual learning as well as video-based or online learning and have experience in multiple delivery modes
• Experience as a facilitator in virtual and in-person environments
• Experience coaching individuals in-the-moment and providing them feedback and guidance
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• A bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or equivalent experience
• Ability to travel as needed, up to 10% of the time
Desired Characteristics
You’ve put in more time developing yourself than the bare minimum and have developed further expertise in the talent, strategy, and design space, which may include:
• A master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, HR, or an MBA
• Experience with: SharePoint, LMS, video editing software, Articulate Rise, Photoshop
• Experience working on diversity-related programs or initiatives
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
