Job Overview:
Catalyst's events and experiences unit is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Events Producer with flexible skills to lead projects and client campaigns and create best in class live, virtual and hybrid experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• To lead and manage pre-record and live events for NBC Universal Global Ad Sales clients.
• Lead and oversee creative concept design and technical implementation for all production elements â€'' live (in-room and broadcast), virtual events and pre-recorded including broadcast infrastructure, set plans and visuals, décor, lighting design, invites and branding
• Take initial brief, lead and/contribute to client meetings and liaison through campaigns to completion & client de-brief
• Formulate and manage budget, followed by final invoicing
• Ensure profit margin target is achieved for each project
• Venue responsibilities include venue finding, site recces, catering, entertainment and security
• Critical path planning including project timelines, schedules, running orders and set/venue plans
• Initiate internal briefing meetings with key stakeholders and crew
• Management of internal team including coordinators, designers, technical team and video producers where appropriate
• During production days, provide management and leadership to key crew, liaise with speakers / presenters, venue, multi-task and manage crew
• Manage client branding as required including print, web and video
• Coordination of scripts and PPT for presenters
• Liaison with 3rd party suppliers
• Management of technical requirements, liaison with suppliers and booking
• Liaison with technical supervisor and understanding of technical aspects
• Purchase ordering and payment of crew
• Health and Safety and Risk Assessment procedures
• Maintain the highest possible standards of client servicing at all time and work with senior events team and the Ad Sales team to form and execute a strategy for consistent client retention
• Work with Ad Sales and Creative strategists on costings, pricing and packaging of event products across all regions.
• Lead internal wash up meetings and produce post event reports and case studies with recommendations on how to improve working process moving forward.
Qualifications
/Requirements/Essential Responsibilities:
• Extensive experience in event management â€'' live, virtual and pre-record as well as a variety of digital event platforms.
• Experience in project and budget management and client liaison
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and effectively prioritize workload
• Self-motivated
• Computer-literate (MS Office, Teams, and beyond)
• Able to travel at short notice
• A high level of written and verbal communication in English
