Do you love pop culture and entertainment? Us too - join the team! NBCUniversal is seeking a highly organized and motivated Production Assistant to join our Promo Department. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the post-production team in the creation of promotional content for various NBCUniversal brands and networks.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the organization and management of promo assets, including footage, graphics, and music.
• Support the editorial team in the assembly of rough cuts, including screening and logging footage, pulling selects, and creating stringouts.
• Assist with the preparation and delivery of promo content for various platforms, including broadcast, social media, and digital.
• Assist with audio mixing and sound design, including adding sound effects and music to promo content.
• Coordinate with other departments and vendors to ensure timely delivery of assets and final promo content.
• Provide administrative support to the team as needed.
• Ensure all post-production activities are in compliance with NBCUniversal policies and procedures.
Qualifications
• 1 years of prior experience in a post-production assistant role on television or film productions a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong understanding of Premiere Pro.
• Familiarity with Avid Media Composer, After Effects is a plus.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as production schedules require.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $45,000 - $55,000
