NBCU is looking for a dynamic Strategist to become a valued member of the Entertainment Marketing Strategy team (Bravo and NBC). Reporting to the Director, Marketing Strategy, this person will support the Marketing Strategy team in the development of marketing strategies that foster ideas, inspire creative thinking, drive cultural relevancy, and lead to audience awareness, tune-in, and fandom. They will also assist with managing day-to-day marketing strategy support and administrative functions, coordinating multiple assignments and marketing projects, and serving as department liaison, communicating with internal Bravo and NBC divisions.
Role Purpose
• The candidate will assist in the development of marketing strategy briefs; they will utilize data, insights and analysis to help define and articulate the audiences, positioning, messaging hierarchy, cultural context and marketing approach for original programming.
• The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams across NBC, Bravo and Peacock to assist the Marketing Strategy team.
• The candidate will maintain organizational tools for the Marketing Strategy team to ensure information is easily accessible, up-to-date and accurate.
Responsibilities
• Support the Marketing Strategy team by maintaining workback plans for deliverables and managing the team’s roadmap of upcoming shows and key projects.
• Source and gather all necessary background materials, such as research, show production updates, relevant articles, and other supplemental documents internally.
• Work with internal and external data systems to extract and synthesize relevant consumer insights, cultural trends, and show performance.
• Aid in the development of marketing strategy briefs, including authoring strategic primers in-house, developing audience frameworks, and collaborating with external agencies.
• Oversee the Marketing Strategy team’s organizational tracker (AirTable) and shared drives, ensuring all updates and the latest documents are constantly incorporated and maintained.
• Liaise with internal marketing team members (i.e.., Brand, Media, Social, Research, etc.) and agency counterparts to ensure alignment and clear communication between teams.
• Manage all meeting scheduling for the Marketing Strategy Team and take lead on notes.
• Help with on-boarding and management of the Marketing Strategy Team Page.
• Attend all necessary meetings regarding specific networks, shows, internal team updates; and participate in discussions and brainstorms as needed.
• Conduct administrative tasks for the team, such as taking meeting notes, organizing team meetings, compiling meeting agendas, and distributing materials as needed.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1 years of applicable experience, ideally in marketing, advertising, promotions and/or television/entertainment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (writing and verbal), including tact and diplomacy.
• Strong project management, with a focus on proactivity, attention to detail, organization skills, and a keen eye for catching mistakes/inconsistencies.
• Confident, driven, self-starter, who is comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing a high level of tasks and overlapping deliverables.
• Passion for and knowledge of the entertainment industry. Love of television, a plus!
• Is a highly resourceful problem solver for which no job is too big or too small.
• Can exercise a high level of discretion with confidential and sensitive information.
• Has demonstrated mastery of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and file sharing software (i.e., SharePoint). Strong data visualization skills a plus.
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA.

Additional Requirements:
• Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
