Responsibilities
NBCU Skycastle is seeking a Digital Sales Marketing and Strategy Manager to execute a communication strategy around the success of NBC Spot On and our other digital platforms. The fastest growing division within NBCU Local, NBC Spot On is the advanced video advertising solution built to reach targeted local audiences at scale. This individual will be tasked with 1) developing fluency with the digital offerings of our company including NBC Spot On, and an effective internal/external B2B marketing strategy for those offerings; 2) the internal communication of that strategy; 3) the guided internal/external B2B implementation of the strategy; 4) the oral and visual communication of insights/results. To these ends, they will:
• Author and present NBC Spot On best practices for clients, digital industry expert pieces and offerings updates for distribution internally / externally as appropriate on various B2B communication channels (e.g. websites, social media, blogs, video, audio, e-marketing) that support division's strategic goals, key initiatives and product enhancements
• Develop, lead, and evangelize NBC Spot On and digital sales marketing strategies and materials that leverage data-driven insights for NBCU Local advertisers. Collaborate and engage with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure that appropriate digital executions are fully integrated into all campaigns
• Work alongside NBC Spot On sales and business leadership to effectively position the brand as a leader in the space
• Bring a forward-thinking approach to the development of clear, concise, and compelling digital sales marketing communications materials
• Stay current and ahead of all changes in the digital / streaming offerings at NBCU, adapting materials appropriately and communicating all updates to sales and marketing teams, maintaining materials in Skycastle SharePoint sites
• Partner with the Digital Media Strategic Development, Research, and Skycastle Marketing and Digital Innovation teams to create data-driven sales opportunity PPT decks with market/audience/competitor insights, and pitch those materials to sales / marketing teams

• Applicants must have a deep understanding of and passion for digital sales marketing and the TV and streaming advertising space with experience in creating media campaigns on digital, social, and streaming platforms.
• The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of innovation in the digital space, and demonstrate competence in a variety of skills as outlined below, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluency in the role of multi-platform applications (digital, mobile, OTT/CTV, social media) in both sales marketing and B2B campaigns, with a passion for professional engagement with these platforms
• Superior writing and oral communication skills and a sound understanding of linear, digital, and social advertising/marketing
• Strong PowerPoint skills and proven proficiency summarizing information/analyses into coherent and concise slides; the ability to think creatively, communicate ideas effectively with relevant imagery and an eye for design/layout
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail, work ethic, sense of curiosity, accountability, ability to execute projects of all sizes with vision & purpose, and takes constructive criticism in stride
• Four-year college degree in marketing or related field is preferred
• Five years of related experience in digital marketing, sales marketing, marcom or communications
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA with flexibility to work a hybrid schedule from home and in the office
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends at times
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or adhere to enhanced protocols if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.
Desired Characteristics
• General understanding of advertising marketplace across various platforms
• Expertise and passion for digital and TV streaming industry
• Experience in media marketing and the advertising sales process
• Demonstrated success in marketing communications/marketing strategy/strategic thinking/branding
• Passion for analytics and data, and ability to synthesize it into an impactful presentation
• Experience developing and implementing strategic digital communications on websites and social media on behalf of a large organization
• Strong writing and presentation creation skills - ability to create engaging, visually, and thoughtfully designed materials, plans, and decks
• High degree of proficiency with full Microsoft Suite (e.g. Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
• Knowledge of HTML and Adobe Photoshop
• Positive and proactive attitude with strong collaboration skills and team-focused mindset
• Fluent in speaking and writing Spanish is a plus
