Executive Assistant to President & General Manager

NBCUniversal is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the President and General Manager, WNBC and the President and General Manager, WNJU.
• Provide professional phone coverage at all times; screen all calls and determine through independent judgment those which require immediate attention
• Proactively manage and coordinate a busy calendar and schedule
• Schedule all internal and external meetings
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Maintain and update contacts lists
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate filing system
• Assist with additional projects and other duties as required by President and General Manager. Also, work with Department Heads on projects and initiatives as assigned
• Process and track expense reimbursements
• Coordinate travel arrangements
• Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance
• Coordinate Town Hall meetings
• Responsible for the conference room bookings
• Handle sensitive materials, ie: talent contracts
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 2 years prior relevant experience, supporting Senior-Level Executives and their teams
• Excellent problem-solver, consistently taking initiative and exhibiting strong resourcefulness
• Exceptional communications skills (verbal and written) and strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient with MS Office – Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills are a must
• Ability to successfully multi-task and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
• College degree preferred
• Friendly with professional and positive demeanor, phone etiquette
• Proactive, flexible, self-starter with a boundary less approach to working within a team
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
• Must be able to build presentation decks
• Ability to multi-task
• Possess strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
• Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, deadline-driven media environment
Onsite: This position has been designated as onsite, generally contributing from the New York, NY office five days per week with some flexibility.

Standard work hours will be 8:00 am – 6:00 pm with willingness to work overtime, with short notice.
