Drama Development Coordinator
NBCUniversal Television Entertainment, Scripted Programming
Location: Universal City, CA, US
The Drama Development Coordinator supports a Vice President and a Director within Drama Development for NBCUniversal Television Entertainment. This role serves as an office liaison, communicating with internal divisions as well as the external business and creative community.
Responsibilities
• Manage heavy phones, calendars, contact management, and development research
• Maintain pitch logs
• Manage expenses and coordinate travel
• Interface regularly with creative executives, agents, producers, and talent, maintaining a high level of professionalism
• Track internal development documents, including pitch status, materials under review, passes, and acquisitions
• Share creative insight and voice opinions on development projects
• Complete additional development and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 1 year of industry experience, preferably from an agency
• Experience supporting executives
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong phone, organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Interest and passion for drama programming
• Ability to anticipate and solve problems
• Knowledge of the television industry
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to build relationships with internal teams and external partners
