The Marketing Manager supports the development and execution of HQ-led marketing campaigns that enhance the NBC and Telemundo Local station brands. This role requires a strong understanding of local news and entertainment marketing, excellent writing and editing skills, and a solid grasp of campaign performance and analytics. The Marketing Manager serves as a connector between strategy and execution, helping to translate creative concepts into deliverables that perform across platforms. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is essential to ensure effective collaboration with both NBC and Telemundo stations and to create messaging that reflects the diverse communities they serve.
Responsibilities:
Campaign Planning and Execution
• Manage execution of HQ-led campaigns across news, entertainment, and tentpole priorities.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and asset trackers for broadcast, digital, and social campaigns.
• Draft, edit, and proof marketing materials and scripts to ensure message clarity and brand consistency.
• Collaborate with Creative Services on production timelines and deliverables, including bilingual versions.
• Partner with NBC and Telemundo stations to localize and distribute toolkits, copy, and creative assets.
Local News & Entertainment Marketing
• Support marketing efforts that drive awareness and engagement with local news, entertainment, and community programming.
• Help develop bilingual campaign materials by adapting creative assets for both English- and Spanish-language audiences.
• Collaborate with stations on campaign alignment and rollout to ensure consistent storytelling across markets.
• Assist with the creation of creative briefs and campaign summaries for HQ leadership and station partners.
Multiplatform Campaign Management
• Coordinate campaign rollout across broadcast, digital, FAST, and social channels, ensuring materials meet brand standards.
• Maintain campaign trackers, delivery logs, and internal systems for asset management and reporting.
• Partner with Marketing Specialist on project logistics, deadlines, and asset delivery.
• Ensure cross-platform campaigns are executed on time and within scope.
Analytics and Reporting
• Monitor campaign results and assist in preparing performance summaries, dashboards, and reports.
• Review and interpret analytics with the Research and Ad Ops teams to identify key takeaways.
• Present findings and recommendations that improve campaign performance and efficiency.
• Use insights to support future planning and creative direction.
Brand Governance and Communications
• Ensure all materials adhere to NBCU Local brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in tone, voice, and design.
• Review bilingual creative materials for message accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
• Support the preparation of internal communications, reports, and creative review presentations.
• Promote best practices for bilingual and multicultural storytelling across HQ and station campaigns.
Qualifications
• 5–7 years of experience in marketing, communications, or brand management, preferably in television, local news, or entertainment media
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft and refine copy in both English and Spanish.
• Demonstrated experience executing multiplatform marketing campaigns across broadcast, digital, and social media
• Proficiency in reviewing campaign data and identifying insights to improve performance
• Bilingual fluency (English and Spanish) required; strong writing and editing ability in both languages preferred
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent work experience
This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
