Admin & Knowledge MGMT Coord, Global Legal Operations & Innovation
Responsibilities
Role Purpose
Reporting to the SVP & Chief Counsel, Global Legal Operations & Innovation, this position combines an administrative assistant role with a role in coordinating NBCU Legal's knowledge management (KM) program. NBCU Legal's KM program, including its online legal resource portal, leverages the department's collective knowledge and experience to support our legal staff in their jobs. As a Coordinator, you will have tremendous opportunities to work with legal professionals from across the entire company to creatively develop and promote knowledge management processes, tools, and resources for NBCU's global legal team.
Job Duties:
• Provide administrative support to a senior executive within NBCU Legal (~20% of the role)
• Arrange and schedule meetings involving executives at all levels; maintain and update calendar; develop and maintain relationships with executive assistants throughout the company
• Arrange travel and accommodations including comprehensive and detailed itineraries
• Prepare and process corporate and p-card expense reports and reconciliations in accordance with NBCU policy guidelines, and keep accurate and timely expense account records
• Arrange/coordinate audio/visual needs & other logistics for multiple-attendee and multiple-location meetings (including Telepresence and slide presentation set-ups)
• Assist with internal communications with staff and broader Legal organization
• Manage administrative and coordination aspects of special projects as designated, including planning and organizing internal events
• Coordinate and assist in the continued development of NBCU's digital legal kM ecosystem (~80% of role)
• Work with a cross-functional legal committee to maintain and expand NBCU Legal's KM portal, including managing access permissions
• Monitor content governance by coordinating with legal teams across the enterprise to ensure sites are regularly maintained and information is updated
• Assist in the development of enhancements to existing features of the KM portal and gather feedback from legal users to help forecast future system opportunities
• Create and disseminate training materials and other resources to reinforce KM best practices and leverage opportunities to centralize processes and information within NBCU Legal
• Report on usage metrics from Legal KM systems
• Help draft materials to promote engagement with Legal KM systems and market the release of new and enhanced resources
Qualifications
/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum 2 years of experience working in a corporate environment
• Experienced in Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

• Experience with or interest in becoming familiar with knowledge creation and delivery platforms and design technologies, especially SharePoint, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Articulate etc.
• Experience in media industry or legal field preferred, but not required
