Overview:
Universal Parks & Resorts, is the theme park subsidiary of NBCUniversal, which is owned by Comcast. The subsidiary, headquartered in Orlando, Florida, operates Universal theme parks and resort properties around the world.
This role sits within the EMEA Marketing and Sales division of Universal Parks and Resorts and is office based in the UK.
Responsible for implementing market-relevant strategic and tactical marketing and communication plans across multiple channels, to drive consumer awareness and influence intent to visit our North American parks in line with business goals. Additional responsibility for adherence to brand guidelines and licensing requirements.
Whilst in the same family, this role is NOT based in our media division which includes Universal Pictures, NBC Networks and NBC Media.
Who we're looking for:

• You'll have general marketing campaign experience, ideally in the UK travel industry and understand brand and IP licensing processes
• Accuracy and attention to detail, will be second nature when it comes to presentation
• You'll have demonstrable experience of effectively working in a process driven environment and adhering to deadlines and budget controls
• Ideally, you'll understand the importance of stakeholder management and have experience of collaborative working
Key responsibilities:
Campaign Development
• Liaise with stakeholders to develop and agree annual B2B and B2C marketing plans
• Develop project plans and critical paths in order to manage and deliver campaigns to deadline
• Brief creative in line with messaging strategy and agreed budget
• Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, legal requirements and LP obligations
• Deliver compelling marketing campaigns on time and within budget
• Plan and deliver, ongoing day to day trade marketing partner activity ensuring accurate and approved Universal brand representation in trade partner brochures, websites and other creative including online, digital, radio, OOH, e-CRM, direct mail, print, social media and POS environments
• Provide post campaign analysis and interpretation, defining delivered value and ROI
• Proactively monitor general trade, consumer, media and competitor trends
• Incorporate results and learnings into future campaign development process
• General business administration, co-ordination and teamwork
• Possibility of travel
Background & Skills:
• Proven Marketing experience in a UK based team
• Proven experience managing 360 campaigns autonomously
• Educated to degree level, or equivalent years in market experience
• Experience of working within the Travel/Entertainment Industry is desirable
• Strong interpersonal and relationship skills; proactive, adaptable, and collaborative
• Effective time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); thinks well on their feet, as well as presents information succinctly and effectively
• Creative acumen and enthusiasm
• Solid experience in both traditional marketing and the digital sector
• Ability to analyse and present statistical data using spreadsheets
• Previous experience of working with licensed partner property is desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
• Articulate, fun, with commercial acumen, and ability to represent the International voice within a US owned business
