Full Time Job
Responsibilities
• Full-cycle recruitment to include job description development; job posting; sourcing; interviewing; and offer negotiation
• Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research, sourcing and on-going relationship management
• Work closely with Business, Talent and HR teams to develop recruiting strategies to identify top talent
• Participate in special projects/ recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and amplifying our brand and EVP locally
• Establish strong partnerships with hiring teams to quickly assess business needs, determine candidate profile and launch a thorough hiring strategy
• Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Demonstrate strong ability to screen, interview and prepare an ideal candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline
• Proactively promote DE&I at every step partnering closely with our Employee Resource Groups as well as external partners
• Build strong relationship with Universities and other early career partners in Australia to attract the best diverse talent to our Intern programme while running a robust assessment process ensuring a best in class early career experience
• Develop and implement Intern developmental workshops utilising expertise from within the business
• Work closely with and provide updates to the Early Career Programme Manager, APAC seeking programmatic direction as required
• Plan and facilitate recruitment events / diversity conferences / panels / social media livestreams to support internship recruiting efforts
• Regularly share market insights and hiring metrics with HR partners and business leaders to help drive business decisions
• Act as a true talent advisor always offering out of the box solutions to talent strategies
Qualifications
/Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Extensive work experience in a search firm or corporate recruiting environment or related industry position with responsibilities of acquiring talent across a diverse range of roles
• Experience working on/ managing and delivering on projects
• Owns and builds strong stakeholder relationships
• Exhibits strong consulting and influencing skills
DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:
• Working knowledge of the media and entertainment industry would be advantageous
• Experience with managing early career programmes
• Experience working with Microsoft office, Outlook, PowerPoint and an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Passionate about providing exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience
• Possess a wide range of experience on current corporate recruiting policies, practices, and industry trends
• Experienced in behavioral based interviewing and other innovative selection methods
• Ability to assess staffing needs and develop creative and effective recruiting strategies to meet those needs
• Strong knowledge of basic employment law and HR practices in the region the role is based
• Proven ability to identify opportunities to drive process improvements
• Ability to in work in a fast-paced environment and with all levels of management
• Clear desire to make work fun and enjoyable working with a dispersed talent team
• Proven aptitude to execute in a changing professional environment
• Excellent communication and organization skills
