Full Time Unpaid Internship
Responsibilities
This is an exciting internship opportunity to learn the ins and outs of NBCUniversal's internal executive search function. Launched in Spring 2012, the Executive Search team is charged with executing Vice President and above level assignments across the NBCU enterprise, including international and its parent company, Comcast. This team leverages their vast network of relationships to help identify and attract exceptional leadership talent capable of helping transform the company and make NBCU the most competitive and innovative media company in the marketplace.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Research and Operations, the intern plays an integral part of the research team that focuses on proactive pipelining, market mapping projects, and overall knowledge management for the larger team. Additionally, this position will help shape our newly established analytics initiative and continue to build and enhance reporting and metrics.
60% time: Data Entry / Encore (cloud-based CRM)
• Become an Encore power-user
• Create, maintain, and ensure data integrity in Encore
• Manage on-going data entry projects: industry lists, conferences, resumes, projects
• Media Insider (update and track weekly executive moves)
• Oversee Non-solicit/No hire Obligation
• Identify and research biography and profile information on executives and companies
• Utilize technology and analytical tools to further develop and analyze department placement and hiring metrics
40% time: Ad hoc Project involvement
• Update and manage industry conference list
• Schedule team meetings / book conference rooms
• Manage weekly team meeting agenda
• Maintain subscriptions and industry trades
• Participate in team meetings
• Actively shadow team (ex: attend kick-off meetings and status calls, create target lists )
• Oversee ad hoc projects (ex: training materials, PPT decks)
Qualifications/Requirements
NBCUniversal interns must meet the following criteria:
• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to
provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without holding a visa or sponsorship.
• Must be able to work on-site in New York, NY.
RECENT GRADUATES WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS PROGRAM.
