As Sr. Manager Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for: building and maintaining strategic relationships with HR partners and business stakeholders across the region; leading TA initiatives; formulating and executing on a strategy of attracting top talent in the region; and managing a team of recruiting professionals at various levels. Based in UK the position will report to the Director, Talent Acquisition - International
Responsibilities:
• Provide consulting and support to HR partners, leaders and key stakeholders to enable talent management capabilities, ensuring recruiting and key talent initiatives achieve efficiency, and sustain effectiveness
• Align strategic vision for talent acquisition cascaded from the global leadership team into actionable implementation plans and to address specific hiring needs in the EMEA region both on a line of business and country level
• Partner with HRBP's on key focus areas - diversity, Internal Mobility, etc.
• Review weekly reports to ensure that the team is effectively recruiting positions with a high level of stakeholder experience
• Inform business leaders on key talent issues, and propose creative ideas for identifying and attracting top talent in a competitive market
• Collaborate regularly with other recruiting leaders across multiple areas
• Utilise recruiting data and metrics to inform key decisions and provide solutions
• Recommend ways to build upon, improve, and/ or streamline the candidate and internal experience
• Effectively lead and inspire a recruitment team across different locations maintaining high levels of engagement
• Mentor and develop recruiting team, instilling a standard of excellence in all aspects of the full life cycle hiring process
• Ensure recruiting resources are appropriately allocated to support the most critical business initiatives
• Work with the global branding team and Director, Talent Acquisition to manage candidate experience; branding; and social media strategy for the region
• Effectively manage preferred supplier list (PSL) of recruitment partners to engage when support is required
• Work closely with the Director, Talent Acquisition to ensure the right search and adverting resources are in place while ensuring the team are maximizing their use
• Keep up to date with and ensure legal compliance across the recruitment process
Qualifications
/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience of leading a team to include: hiring; training; performance management; and
maintaining high levels of engagement
• Extensive work experience in a search firm or corporate recruiting environment or related
industry position with responsibilities of acquiring talent
• Demonstrated strategic partnership with various leaders across the organization (i.e. HR, Business
Leaders, TA)
• Working knowledge of recruiting across multiple markets in the region of responsibility
• A good general knowledge of employment law as it pertains to recruitment in the region of
responsibility
• Fluency in a 2nd language in a key NBCUniversal market in the region of responsibility in addition
to English is advantageous
Desired Characteristics:
• Prior media or entertainment industry experience is preferred
• Strong presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Extensive experience with Applicant Tracking systems, recruiting tools and MS office
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while providing strong internal and
external customer service
• Strong follow up skills and proven ability to interact with management of all levels
• Ability to consolidate, analyze and present complex data from numerous sources
• Exhibit an elevated level of discretion and act as a trusted partner
• Ability to interact with senior leaders and adjust communication style based on audience
• Well-developed relationship management and consultative skills, ability to influence the business
and set clear expectations
