Part Time Unpaid Internship
Responsibilities
Now accepting resumes for the Talent Operations Team for a Social Media & Branding Intern for Spring 2019. The position will be part time (16-24 Hours per week), and paid. The Social Media & Branding Intern will partner with members of the TV & Feature Recruiting team, as well as with the Digital Marketing team in the development and implementation of employer social media marketing approaches for recruiting, and recognizing opportunities to market DreamWorks Animation an employer of choice, to a diverse population.
• Oversee the execution of recruiting messages online and in the community positioning DreamWorks as an exciting employer of choice.
• Social content planning, programming, publishing and tagging.
• Monitor emerging sites and communication channels; recommend new initiatives based on these observations and points of knowledge.
• Create new and creative ways to use social platforms to tell stories and build our audience.
• Use graphic design and photography skills to create content for DreamWorks Recruiting social media channels
• Track and analyze metrics to identify trends and communicate such information in effort to enhance social media engagement and brand recognition
• Act as support to the Recruiting department for hiring events and on-site events.
Desired Characteristics
• Good presentation, communication and organizational skills
• Strong interest of social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced and creative environment
• Able to work independently and also be comfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the organization and external company contacts.
• Ability to work on a team and willingness to give assistance to co-workers in other areas
• A BA/BS candidate currently enrolled in a four-year college or university.
• Demonstrates proficiency of Google mail/calendaring and Microsoft office suite.
• Familiar with basic photo / video editing, altering, creating, and sharing. Knowledge of programs like Photoshop and After Effects is a plus.
• Prior Feature or TV Animation production experience or internship experience preferred.
• Unfortunately, DreamWorks Animation is not able to sponsor international students for this internship.
