Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Support TV, Film and Streaming productions in the day-to-day implementation and monitoring of the Sustainable Production Program on over 70 domestic and international productions a year:
-Plan and execute kickoff calls with new productions (Production team, Accounting, and key department heads - Construction, Locations, and Transportation)
-Administer and keep current materials including prep and wrap deliverables, best practices checklists, carbon and KPI data, and EMA Green Seal applications
-Communicate Sustainable Production Guidelines and assist in the integration of best practices into existing and new production operations
-Serve as the liaison with crew and production personnel on sustainable production issues, opportunities and progress in environmental practices
-Assist in the compilation and analysis of production environmental accounting data
-Track progress of program on all productions, benchmark, and follow up where needed
-Maintain database of sustainable suppliers and resources
• Manage food donation programs on over 50 productions on the Universal Lot and around the world
• Work to identify and apply new energy efficient technologies for pilot programs on productions
• Participate in Sustainable Production Alliance meetings and sub-committees
• Identify strong sustainability stories from productions to communicate both internally and externally
• Work with EPK teams to capture strong b-roll and interviews around sustainability
• Collect and assist in assembling production related carbon data for company CDP disclosure & carbon reporting as well as CSR report and industry materials
• Collaborate with other departments and green teams to align sustainability efforts as the company moves towards its 2035 Carbon Neutral commitment
• Provide support to sustainability employee engagement initiatives, including employee education, lunch and learns, and employee activations, newsletters, green teams, and more
• Work on additional projects and tasks as requested by Director, including industry-wide efforts
• Support Corporate Affairs department on internal communications and community outreach projects, as needed
• Graphic design needs such as signage, digital screens, employee engagement materials
• Manage administrative responsibilities such as mailing, scheduling, booking travel, etc.
Qualifications
/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of two years' experience in TV or Film production in a sustainability capacity
• Corporate Sustainability Reporting Experience is a plus (CDP, GRI, etc.), and/or data collection & analysis
• Strong analytic skills and acute attention to detail is essential
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self-starter, flexible, motivated and proactive; comfortable working independently
• Strong computer skills, including being well versed in Microsoft Excel
• Must be comfortable working in a corporate environment
• Understanding of environmental issues
• Basic graphic design skills

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress a plus
• Experience analyzing large sets of data; familiar with Excel pivot tables
