Role Summary
The Sr. Director, Portfolio Growth & Partnerships, will be a key member of the strategic marketing function within the Corporate Symphony team. The position will be responsible for working with the Chair, Marketing Council, to drive major business initiatives and priorities across the organization, without bias to business or platform, to achieve overall company objectives. This Senior role will evolve the business planning process and transform Marketing Council to serve as a growth engine for the company, offering information, insight, inspiration and innovation. A successful leader in this role must be creative, strategic and collaborative; able to develop relationships with marketers as well as contributors within other functions across all divisions and business units within company offering solutions to key business challenges.

Responsibilities
• Oversee long lead planning and prioritiesâ€'' evolve current construct to drive future integration and impact for all businesses
• Develop, communicate and evangelize the Symphony priorities, process, and overall philosophy to all levels of the organization to build and sustain a thriving value proposition
• Create new ways of working to generate greater learnings and opportunities to tap spectrum of expertise across the Marketing Council
• Lead collaboration across NBCUniversal and Comcast businesses to drive growth and create partnerships, programs and campaigns that serve evolving business needs
• Lead the campaign strategy and management for Symphony priorities across available assets to help drive business results while continually optimizing for creativity and effectiveness
• Identify and secure new/additional opportunities â€'' both owned assets and strategic partnerships â€'' to leverage for incremental media exposure
• Partner internally to continually measure, report, and optimize campaigns, including audience targeting to improve effectiveness of on-air and digital cross-channel inventory
• Provide cross-portfolio marketing insights and guidance to other key stakeholder groups (ex. Cable Affiliate Marketing, Ad Sales, Audience Studio, Digital Enterprises, Finance, Sourcing, Corp Comm, Int'l) serving as a Center of Excellence to benefit business units in their marketing needs
• Collaborate with Symphony Strategy Lead to oversee / manage media agency
• Oversee all budgets, calendars, inventory, plans, newsletters, sizzles, etc. for all Marketing Council and Symphony initiatives
• Transform Marketing Council and Symphony communications and meetings constructs
• Develop Marcomm plan for Marketing Council and Symphony for internal and external use leading to competitive advantage
• Lead planning, programming, and evolution of annual Marketing Council Offsite
• Lead management and evolution of Symphony presentations and materials for Executive meetings
• Responsible for development of support team members
Qualifications
/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum eight (8) years of media, promotion, marketing or advertising experience or experience in investment banking, management consulting, or technology platforms
• Experience with creative asset needs and development across all platforms
• Experience with project management of complex and multi-faceted product launches, promotional campaigns, or similar initiatives
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
