Are you passionate about being a part of the ever-changing landscape of Sports television? NBC Sports Bay Area is searching for a Live Events and Special Projects Production Coordinator. Job Duties
• Assist production of live events, including crewing, scheduling, full credential oversight, and distributing logistic emails to on-site employees/talent for Giants, A's Sharks, Warriors, and Sacramento Kings
• Process pay sheets and invoices; contribute to accruals, budgeting and forecasts, and oversee vendor setup
• Contribute to special projects (playoff coverage, documentaries Tentpole events) as needed, particularly in assisting content leaders in execution
• Coordinate talent hotel booking and travel, expense reports and other logistics, and be on call to answer questions and concerns
• Field produce and stage manage remote shows as assigned
Qualifications
/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure, deadline-driven setting
• Ability to work in an organized manner with attention to detail and tight deadlines
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel
• Working knowledge of FileMaker Pro, Photoshop, Hightail and Dropbox preferred
• Live events production experience preferred
• Knowledge of baseball, basketball, hockey, football and soccer preferred
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and developing leadership qualities
• Ability to multi-task and set priorities in line with business goals
• Up-to-date knowledge of Bay Area sports teams' current status and history
