Production Assistant, E! News Digital Video (Originals Team)
Responsibilities
The E! News Digital Video team is looking for a Production Assistant. The ideal candidate must love pop culture and all things entertainment news. Responsibilities:
• Support Producing team on the day-to-day production of digital/social videos (including, but not limited to, Necessary Realness, Kards Katch Up, topical & feature news videos/snap reformats, and other shows currently in development)
• Pitch segment ideas to Producers
• Undertake detailed research, fact check scripts and spell check graphics
• Pull, organize and track all video assets (including b-roll, SOTs, and pics)
• Work with talent to coordinate shoots/VO tracking times as directed
• Actively communicate with gfx artists, photo team, and editors
• Log and transcribe interviews
• Attend shoots and assist production as needed
• Assist with major initiatives (like E! live events) as well as day-to-day operations
• Keep a pulse on trending/viral topics across digital platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, TikTok Snapchat, Twitch, and Instagram
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1 years experience production experience
• Strong video content production background
• Working knowledge of basic video and photo editing software (including Adobe Premiere & Photoshop)
• Basic knowledge of navigating and downloading media from external resources such as Getty, Shutterstock, etc.
Desired Characteristics
• Organization and time management skills with initiative
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and shows with parallel timeline
• Writing background preferred
• Effective communication skills and experience working across multiple departments
• A blend of collaborative skills as well as being an independent self-starter
• Create and maintain positive, productive relationships with both internal and external groups
