Responsibilities
Role Summary:
The Editorial Production Assistant for ACCESS is responsible for supporting the producers of the shows as needed, and for logging all materials as requested by Manager.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Participate in content creation from conceptualization through the various stages of execution, to include: Research/Writing/Studio/Field Work/Post and Voiceover direction.
• Assist producers in locating and obtaining footage and soundbites.
• Assist producers in the field on shoots, as required
• Assist producers in setting up segments, as required
• Participate in social media strategies, as required
• Log other materials as needed by the producers of the show.
• Verbatim transcription of ACCESS field tapes/incoming feeds.
• Screen various network shows & synopses.
• Assignments from ACCESS news desk as required
• Other duties as assigned by Manager
Qualifications
/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 2-year experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Minimum 1-year experience in television, Production Assistant work a plus
• I News, ENPS, or Media Central experience desirable

• Must have ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings due to news cycles and breaking news.

• Strong interpersonal skills -- with a demonstrated ability to work with others efficiently in fast-paced, high-pressure situations -- are required.
• The ability to work with the other PAs in a team-oriented environment, often with minimal direct supervision is essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and a desire to learn and master new skills is a must.
• Strong typing skills are required.
