Responsibilities
NBC4 is looking for a Platform Manager to collaborate with our team of exceptional journalists to create engaging and compelling content for our broadcast, digital and social platforms.
Here You Can:
• Be a leader by producing engaging and memorable newscasts on NBC4
• Take charge of the big headlines with innovative production showcasing and creative writing
• Use your strong organizational skills and work efficiently to meet fast-paced deadlines
• Produce content for special projects as assigned
• Partner with our dedicated digital team to create content for all NBC4 platforms

• Be responsible for making sure the overall editorial content aligns with the “4 You†brand by ensuring fairness, accuracy, balance, diversity, equity and inclusion
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Strategic thinking, researching and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time-management skills, prioritizing assignments to meet deadlines
• Collaboration with anchors and directors on newscast format
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other team members
Qualifications
/Requirements
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience producing a daily newscast
• Strong experience with desktop editing and using Dalet
• Must be willing and able to work weekends, holidays and varying shifts as assigned and when necessary to meet operational demands
