Responsibilities
Do you want to work for one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies in the development, production, marketing of entertainment and news?
Operations and Technology (O&T) supports NBCUniversal's full portfolio of production, broadcast and media distribution businesses for both TV and Film. Services provided include technical and on-air operations, technology development, engineering and support, R&D, and corporate services such as real estate, facilities and security.
We are looking for candidates with a genuine passion for technology and have completed a placement year as part of your studies ideally with C#, .NET, SQL Server and AWS experience.
Solution Engineers play a key role within Media Technology as they are responsible for translating business needs into functional and technical requirements for software developers and suppliers and ensure the successful implementation and rollout to end users, operations and support.
To join one of our 12-month Internships you will be studying or have no more than one year of experience post your graduating with a degree-level or equivalent course.
You must also be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship. To ensure that you are considered for the placement that best fits your interest and skillset, we recommend that you apply to no more than 3 placements
Qualifications
/Requirements
• Work with Business Analysts and Business Stakeholders to fully understand change requirements and business processes affected
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements for software developers and suppliers
• Ensure the successful implementation and roll-out of new services, workflows and products and provide support to end users, operations and support when projects and changes are going into BAU
• Ensure a thorough understanding of system changes and developments, working with others in Media Technology and with suppliers to create test scenarios / scripts and execute testing for changes and new developments
• Produce and maintain documentation about our products and systems that makes it easy for users and Support to understand how they interact and to troubleshoot
• Provide an effective liaison between technical and non-technical audiences, both internal to NBCU and with 3rd parties.

Education
& Qualifications:
To join one of our 12-month Internships you will be studying or have no more than one year of experience post your graduating with a degree-level or equivalent course in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, System Design, Business Analysis or similar subject.
