This is a Part Time Paid Internship
Responsibilities
The Product Design Summer Intern will have the opportunity to play a role in the creative development of new and existing Fandango mobile web, iOS & Android products. The Product Designer Intern works and supports the Product Experience team on design tasks. You will work with Design, Research, Product, and Analytics teams on new features and iterate on UX in order to better optimize customer experience and conversions.
• Product design tasks for a wide variety of design challenges for mobile, commerce, marketing, ad sales, and media products
• Collaborate and work on prototype concepts
• Participate in user research and testing
• Collaborates well in groups of other Designers, Developers, User Experience and Product Directors to ensure the optimal performance of projects
• Follows direction from the Director of Product Design for Fandango
• Integrate and adhere to the Brand Identity Guidelines
• Must be attentive to deadlines and comfortable working under pressure
• Produce materials and assets for developers
Qualifications/Requirements
• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree in progress
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits) (rising sophomore, junior, or senior)
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without a visa or sponsorship
• Must be able to work on-site in Beverly Hills, CA
• Must be available during our program: June 3 – August 9, Monday – Friday, about 9am-6pm, approximately 40 hours/week, for 10 weeks
• Internship positions are paid and do not require school credit
• Recent graduates will not be eligible

The ideal candidate is curious, organized, talented and extremely collaborative. They must also be passionate, positive and eager to take on and learn new things.
• Have a portfolio demonstrating cohesive design style & UX
• Knowledge of visual and user experience design
• Experience in designing mobile web, websites, and apps
• Must be competent with graphic design and layout, user-interface design, user experience, color theory, typography, and illustration
• Solid foundational understanding of HTML and CSS
• Knowledge of agile or lean philosophies
