Responsibilities
Role Summary:
The Manager, HRIS will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing a portfolio of HR Systems projects. This position requires strong HRIS, communication, influencing and project management skills. Also important is the ability to establish and maintain key relationships within business and technology groups, as well as interact with diverse stakeholders and partners. This role will report to the Director, HR Operations and will be based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
Responsibilities
• Actively leads all aspects of a manageable portfolio of HR Systems projects from start to finish including, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure
• Defines and maintains project charters, objectives, schedules and scope
• Leads the development of requirements through interviews and workshops across multiple stakeholder groups
• Creates project plans, including project deliverables, activities, resources, dependencies and timelines
• Creates and maintains system documentation, deployment plans and support plans
• Acts as a liaison between Technology and Business HR
• Facilitates communications between various stakeholders and collaborates with internal cross-functional teams to advise and ensure alignment
• Keeps all stakeholders updated on project status and progress against agreed upon targets
• Directs day-to-day activities of projects and staff in matrixed organization
• Ensures milestones are successfully met through oversight of project and coordination of resources
• Oversees testing strategy and testing cycles of new systems with the project team
• Manages changes to project scope and develops contingency plans
• Assesses, manages, resolves and escalates (if necessary) risks and issues
• Manages change management and communication plans
• Manages project deployments
• Evaluates established success criteria to determine project success
• Manages individual workload and delivers against agreed upon project milestones
• Consults on systems design and configuration decisions
• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Technology
• 3 years of experience managing HR Systems related projects
• 5 years of hands-on experience (non-end user) with SAP HCM or other HR System

• Strong functional HR systems experience
• Certifications in HR and/or Project Management preferred
• Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office products and Project Management software
• Experience with SAP HCM Organizational Management (OM) and Personnel Administration (PA) modules
• Strong project management skills while managing multiple, concurrent projects
• Strong interpersonal skills and team skills, ability to communicate well with individuals, and in group settings, ability to communicate with diverse population and people from various backgrounds in a consultative manner
• Strong written and verbal communication, ability to make presentations to various groups
• Strong ability to prepare project dashboards and status reports for stakeholders and senior leaders
• Strong business analysis, requirements gathering and process engineering skills
• Strong analytical, critical evaluation and problem-solving skills
