Responsibilities
Role Summary:
The Manager, Campus Programs & Initiatives is a key member of the Campus Programs leadership team, which is responsible for identifying, developing, and executing future-focused campus recruiting strategies that address critical business needs across NBCUniversal. This requires an enterprise-wide mindset, strong communication skills, organizational savvy to effectively influence and partner with groups across a matrixed environment, and operational excellence to bring ideas to fruition.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute and gain exposure to a wide spectrum of work streams that the Campus Programs team has in motion at any given time. The Manager, Campus Programs & Initiatives manages across multiple programs/events to ensure alignment with objectives, timely execution, and strategic problem solving.
Responsibilities:
• Direct management and leadership of Campus Recruiters and Coordinators – managing performance and annual objective setting, review processes
• Partner closely with Campus Programs leadership team to drive and support team initiatives; including strategies and approach to attract, recruit and develop a diverse pipeline of talent for the NBCUniversal Internship Program
• Manage university relations strategy including building rapport with undergraduate and graduate programs, providing direction to team on positioning NBCUniversal as employer of choice with campuses
• Lead recruiting efforts at national and local conferences and events
• Partner with Campus Recruiters to review, analyze, summarize and report on hiring for respective businesses; utilize information to strategize ways to enhance and improve results as needed
• Conduct ongoing external benchmarking for business and talent trends to enhance recruitment efforts
• Partner with Campus Recruiters, Human Resources, and/or Employment Law team to address and oversee intern employee relations issues when needed
• Serve as the central contact for business and HR leaders across multiple business units
Qualifications
/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• At least 6 years of related experience, including large, complex programs or projects
• Ability to travel (up to 25% of the time)
