Responsibilities
The Ad Sales Learning & Development team's mission is to support individuals and teams with developing knowledge & skills required to achieve job excellence and career success. The manager is responsible for assisting the director and team towards developing & implementing various learning programs.
• Design and deliver various training solutions for our Ad Sales transactional systems & processes. This could include both instructor led and online eLearning solutions
• Develop & maintain organization communication & learning tools
• Manage the activities involved in the design, preparation, delivery and needs assessment of training and development programs for the NBCU Ad Sales organization
• Develop and/or approve content, methods, and training materials.
• Train and coach managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts
• Develop methods for evaluation of program effectiveness
• Lead cross functional meetings to collect information relevant to the content of instructional material under development
• Promote and foster a learning culture within the Ad Sales organization
Qualifications
/Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 years of planning, traffic, sales service, and/or operations experience within the digital media/ad business required

Desired Characteristics
• Subject Matter Expertise/Knowledge of Digital Ad Sales and its transactional systems (e.g. Operative.one)
• Proven computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Attention to detail, commitment to quality work product and well organized.
• Experience in successfully communicating both verbally and in writing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and multi-task
• Team player to participate and support needs of entire team
• Excellent ability to project manage initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with co-workers, clients, and senior leadership
• Willing to learn new systems, concepts and methods as industry & initiatives dictate
