Responsibilities
OVERVIEW
The Operations Supervisor will support the Operations Department in overseeing and the executing broadcast daily logs for international territories. This position ensures accurate placement of the programming grid, Ad Sales spots, On-Air promos strategy and secondary events. The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for all related functions of the NBCUniversal Latin America Channels Operations team including integration with Programming, Promotions, Ad Sales and Finance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure integrity of daily broadcast log & automation
• Strategize ways to improve the team and come up with solutions to make log scheduling more efficient
• Resolve daily scheduling conflicts.
• Maintain accurate program schedule & formatting.
• Maximize inventory regarding program formats, unit types and client requirements.
• Oversee and execute advertising for the daily booking and ensure quality execution of schedules.
• Work closely with the Traffic department since the department works in conjunction with Operations
• Responsible for accurate breaks durations.
• Assist in resolving On-Air discrepancies when they arise.
• Ensures regulatory compliances and placement of programs rating classification.
• Build logs if necessary.
• Work alongside the Sr Mgr Traffic & Operations on special projects.
• Be able to do quick turn-a-rounds from US aired shows to the LatAm feeds in the time needed to ensure successful airing
• Assist with graphic errors and “black-outs†and work to mend errors and consult with Finance to find out if any costs are involved
• Be available and flexible to accommodate last-minute business.
• Work Programing, Marketing, and Ad Sales departments to facilitate successful log schedules and ensure client needs are met.
• Work with agencies such as DryCreek and other offices (London, regions in LatAm) with any information they may need
• Work closely with the Traffic department since the department works in conjunction with Operations

• Experience with working in a media/TV industry
• Ability to multitask and to adapt and work well in a rapidly changing environment while keeping with tight deadlines
• Possesses leadership skills by being able to delegate assignments & manage a team of people efficiently and productively
• Strong analytical skills: Streamline, analyze, and present data to assist with management & divisional reporting and assist with strategic recommendations
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Communications is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Broadcast Traffic and working experience in Broadcast Traffic systems (Mydas, Landmark, WideOrbit, IBMS, BTS etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Language: Fluent in Spanish and English
