Responsibilities
• Provide day to day HR support for assigned production based Human Resources clients in both Los Angeles and New York, including: recruitment, on-boarding, off-boarding, compensation analysis, performance management, and reporting/analytics.
• Partner with HR leadership, Employment Law and Labor Relations to support clients with employee relations issues, accommodation requests, and in ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and practices
• Mentor and provide guidance to clients related to career development and performance management
• Prepare and maintain statistical metrics on key department functions/initiatives for purposes of reporting analysis to key stakeholders
• Work closely with Talent Acquisition and Internship Program teams to help leverage recruitment strategies
• Maintain organizational structure in SAP, processing organizational changes as needed
• Oversee LOA processes; processing transactions and ensuring LOA pay is accurate as well as educating employees on LOA processes and procedures
• Liaise with various HR specialties and partners, including Benefits, Compensation and Payroll, to manage and resolve day to day employee issues
• Respond to routine HR questions including, but not limited to benefits, payroll, vacation or redirect employees to appropriate contacts in a timely manner
• Attend & participate in training courses pertinent to Human Resources as required
• Assist in creation of job descriptions for open positions, and post open jobs via nbcunicareers.com
• Assist with creation, planning and logistics of on-site culture building activities and events
• Support with ad hoc team projects as needed
Qualifications
/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required
• 3 years working within the HR function
