Responsibilities
Position Title: HR Processes and Systems Analyst
Organisation: London

Role Summary:
This position supports all NBCU businesses and is part of a central, Global HR Operations team. The role is based in London but works closely with the HR Operations peers based in the US (New York and LA). The overall purpose of the role is to:
• Work collaboratively with key stakeholders (Specialist and Business HR teams, Payroll, Finance, IT, Benefits, Legal) to understand their HR system and process needs and provide associated support and guidance
• Provide support for HR process improvement initiatives across NBCU geographies and businesses, including testing system changes, developing reports and analyzing data flows
• Acquire and maintain expertise across HR systems being used and implemented, namely SAP, Success Factors, Business Warehouse, custom in-house developed portals, and be able to explain concepts in business terms to non-system users
• Work with HRIS teams to translate country/business requirements into HR System solutions
• Maintain data integrity across the various NBCU HR systems and support the audit, control and governance agendas across these systems
Responsibilities
• Manage productive working relationships with business HR colleagues at all levels
• Handle extremely sensitive and confidential company and employee information using considerable tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment
• Develop strong knowledge of NBCU's business in order to understand data requirements and perform appropriate checks on data received for input
• Work closely with US-based peers and counterparts to ensure data accuracy and effective troubleshooting across different NBCU HR Systems (namely SAP HCM, Success Factors and the Self-Service Portal)
• Perform validation and analysis of data prior to making changes in the system
• Provide timely responses to client requests for data and exceptional transactional processing
• Maintain and update procedural documentation, e-learning, FAQs, tip sheets and how-to guides for HR system navigation and troubleshooting, and make it available to users on HR knowledge and learning management systems
• Develop and deliver HR System training to specialist and business HR teams
• Provide support with the maintenance, execution and validation of functional specification documents, test data and test scripts
• Partner with local business HR teams and wider business functional stakeholders to support HR system build activities as part of acquisitions and new business setups
• Conduct periodic HR data audits to ensure compliance across HR processes ensuring appropriate approvals are in place and data is entered into systems correctly
• Ensure data privacy processes are followed correctly and manage data retention policies/processes in line with legislation (e.g. GDPR)
• Support the implementation of change programmes and process improvements including ownership of project-related documentation and plans
• Serve as an escalation point for HR system queries and back end troubleshooting
• Coordinate with the specialist HR (Reward, Talent, Global Mobility) and HRIS teams on system enhancements, ensuring any proposed changes to requirements are aligned and will satisfy both global and local country business needs
• Work with HRIS teams to resolve any issues with interfaces or feeds of data to other systems e.g. Payroll (ADP), applicant tracking (Brassring), absence management (edays)
• Work with the Reward, Talent and US HR Operations teams to ensure key cyclical reward (annual merit, bonus and LTI) and talent (performance management, compliance training, talent review) processes are appropriately configured and tested in relevant HR systems and provide associated troubleshooting support
• Work with external 3rd party translation providers and business HR to process and confirm any translations to system verbiage changes
Skills
and Experience
• Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Human Resources, or related field preferred
• HR Operations related experience
• Experience working with Human Resources with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, preferably SAP HCM and Success Factors
• Intermediate to advanced expertise with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint)Strong team-player
• Demonstrable experience of problem-solving
• Flexible approach to work and comfortable working in a complex matrix multinational organisation
• Confident and clear communicator, capable of adapting style and approach to suit the audience
• Good understanding of HR processes, practices and organisational models
• Experience of reading and interpreting HR System functional specifications
• Working knowledge of general HR business processes
• Sound knowledge of Personnel Administration and Organizational Management concepts and processes
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high quality work
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Self-motivated, pro-active, and able to work under own initiative and plan and deliver work without close oversight
• Good project management skills
• Strong organisational skills
• Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
