Responsibilities
Role Summary:
We are seeking an innovative and results-driven Human Resources Coordinator to partner with the Corporate HR team to provide support to employees across the Legal function at NBCUniversal. The HR Coordinator will also provide back up support to other Corporate Functions clients, as needed.
Responsibilities:
Recruiting & Onboarding
• Prepare job descriptions for open positions, and post open jobs via nbcunicareers.com
• Facilitate the new hire onboarding process including generating offer letters and processing background checks
• Process HRIS transactions in SAP, and complete I-9 verifications for new employees
• Partner with hiring manager to ensure a smooth new hire experience
• Lead recruiting of temporary talent by working with business clients in processing requests for temporary employees
HR Processes
• Process HRIS transactions for all employees in the Legal function, including but not limited to: personal data changes, promotions, and transfers
• Process employee terminations, prepare severance packages and submit final payments, and coordinate exit process and asset collection
• Serve as primary user for all HR systems: SAP, BrassRing, etc.
• Run and analyze reports around attrition, performance appraisals, and diversity metrics
• Liaise with business partners including Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Finance in order to field questions and resolve day to day employee issues
• Assist with annual HR initiatives (talent review, performance management, compensation planning, etc.)
• Keep apprised and up to date on new regulations, company policies & procedures
• Attend & participate in training courses pertinent to Human Resources as required
Administrative
• Create, update and maintain organizational charts as needed
• Plan logistics for employee meetings, trainings, etc., including room reservations and technology set-up
• Provide administrative HR support, including preparing presentations, generating monthly and ad hoc reports, sending employee communications and other projects as needed

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required

Desired Characteristics
Desired Characteristics:
• 1 year of HR or related experience in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with HR information systems (ie. SAP) preferred
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
• Highly resourceful and organized with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
• Extremely flexible and able to easily shift priorities with a can-do attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
