Responsibilities
Role Summary
The Director, Talent Acquisition Operations is the leadership steward for all elements of recruiting processes. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for talent acquisition and process improvement. The primary responsibility will be to serve as the Operations Director for the recruiting processes across the NBCUniversal family. In this role, you will effectively partner internally with the Talent Acquisition recruiting teams to advance Talent Acquisition processes and externally with other Talent Acquisition functions supporting to enhance system capability and improve the candidate experience.
The Director, Talent Acquisition Operations also manages the administrative workflow components including presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, job close out, background check screening, and operation, paperwork and processes affiliated with onboarding and the offer process, employment policies and procedures, and compliance.
The Director, Talent Acquisition Operations will have six key areas of responsibility:
• Candidate & Manager Experience
• Employment Branding
• Analytics & Reporting
• Compliance with OFCCP regulations
• Vendor & Event Management
• Partnership with HR Tech on Technology
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement innovative recruiting processes and techniques, determine effectiveness and efficiency of efforts, and track success
• Develop, implement, document, and ensure adherence to practices and procedures set by the operations team
• Design and manage performance metrics to meet/exceed department goals
• Evangelize a strong, collaborative relationship between the operations team and recruiters
• Leverage internal team knowledge of the businesses in regards to recruitment challenges for better workflows with consistent outcomes
• Manage recruitment reporting process-compile recruiting metrics, interpret data trends, areas of strength, and areas of opportunities
• Discover trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices and technology
• Create and manage a process for all vendor relationships
• Work in conjunction with the Vice President, Global Talent Acquisition to ensure processes are consistent with NBCU's business goals
• Create and oversee business line sourcing strategies and media campaigns for targeted recruiting
• Project lead the integration or upgrade of the Application Tracking System
• Responsible for developing and implementing solutions to hiring impediments with full partnership of the HR Leaders and Talent leads

• Minimum of 7 years recruiting operations experience in a large scale corporate environment

Desired Characteristics
• Knowledge and experience in recruitment technology and process management including the selection of relevant applicant tracking systems
• Strong understanding of OFCCP requirements and current employment laws/regulations
• Direct experience managing different vendors including Agencies, Background Check, etc.
• Proven experience developing staffing metrics and measuring staffing performance against high-performance benchmarks
• Proven ability to effectively motivate and guide recruiters operationally in high-volume recruiting environments
• Proven successful experience overseeing back-office recruiting functions including candidate experience, offer generation and employee on-boarding paperwork
• Knowledge and proven successful experience with search firms, applicant tracking systems (including reporting), job board aggregators, recruiting process management and social media recruiting
• Previous experience as a corporate-side recruiter preferred
• Proven ability to be flexible, adaptable and collaborative in a fast-past, ever-changing work environment
• Excellent relationship builder, able to successfully influence at all levels
• Superior interpersonal, written, and verbal skills
• Demonstrated experience driving change and building consensus to achieve results
• Strong business ethics
• Ability to work in operational role, yet think strategically
• Bachelor's/Master's Degree
• Experience within the media industry a plus
