Responsibilities
What You'll be Doing
You'll have the opportunity to be part of the team that help bring our enterprise-wide talent development strategy and uniquely NBCUniversal development experiences at the Talent Lab to life. We work with talented leaders from across our portfolio to make them even better. Our days regularly flex between the big-picture planning and curation of our development experiences to examining the small details that make them a success. This role will serve as the ambassador of the Talent Lab and work to ensure that the event space and office runs smoothly and guests and employees receive a first-class experience. In addition, this role will support the alignment of talent that are new to the company.
At the core of this role, you'll focus on a broad range of administrative, coordination and support activities with a focus on event and project delivery and process optimization.
Here's what that will look like for you…
• You'll support multiple Talent Lab experiences, primarily based in LA which will include experience coordination & logistics, project planning, communicating with our talent and sponsors.
• You'll run point on supporting the day to day operations of our space and be involved in keeping us within our budget and being the key liaison with our vendors.
• You'll create materials for our experiences that are energizing, stimulating, and inspiring – including presentations, participant tools, exercises/activities, and digital solutions.
• You'll have a passion for communication and a keen interest in design for social media. We love our brand and we want you to help us amplify this through various platforms.
• You'll grow into providing in-person facilitation for select Talent Lab experiences – primarily START, our new hire orientation, but also supporting other experiences targeted at individual contributors.
Every week will be different, and you'll play an important role developing our talent, which is at the heart of our success as a creative company.
Qualifications
/Requirements
What You'll Have
Bachelor degree
At least one year of experience
Experience in either talent management, learning and development, human resources, talent acquisition, and/or event or office management
Desired Characteristics
Bonus Points if...
You've been sitting in media/entertainment/tech, and a fast pace excites you. You naturally stay up to date with tech trends and what's working in the talent space, and jump in without fear to new tools.
You're fluent in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. You've got a designer's eye and have had some experience with graphic design and publishing tools like InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Working with a challenging customer thrills you. You're game and ready to build relationships with anyone. You've shown this through your previous project management experience, juggling multiple tasks with multiple deliverables for multiple audiences.
