Coordinator, Production Management (Contract)
Responsibilities
Physical Production & Production Mgmt. Support:
• Point of contact for all production shoots (Essence Digital)
• Support for studio-based productions
• remote interview set-ups and monitoring
• VLC & Unity messaging
• Guest talent outreach for technical information for remote interviews & in-studio appearances
• Book H&MU, Wardrobe support
• EFP and field shoot support, including out of town/remote shoots
• book crew (hire OOT vendors & work with O&T LA based partners)
• book shoot locations & manage location releases (LA & NY primarily)
• shoot permits as needed for various location shoots (LA & NY primarily)
• art dept requests (LA based studio shoots)
• ensure Certificate of Insurance is requested & presented as needed
• Facilitate & send daily call sheets &/or production notices as related to productions across multiple depts i.e., Glam, Art, Studio, Post, Media Mgmt.
• Liaisons with all levels of production to provide daily simultaneous support for multiple productions
• Responds to and resolves problems or questions relating to production ensuring the most cost-effective solutions; escalates issues to supervisor as needed.
• Work with Director &/or Production Manager regarding tech and location walk thrus, and tech confirmations for studio shoots, when requested
• Point of contact with Talent and Booking teams to ensure guest talent logistics needs are met
• Develop & maintain day to day schedules prioritizing activities with good judgment & business understanding
• Track & maintain expenses across multiple productions
• Additional duties, as assigned
Qualifications
/Requirements
• 3 years experience in field, studio & physical production
• Strong understanding of pre-pro to wrap and workflow of productions
• Work independently as well as collaborate with multiple partners across the business
• Can work in a fast paced & quick deadline environment and can be a solution oriented partner
• Ability to understand confidentiality as related to work topics that may impact larger organization
• Attention to detail, very strong organizational skills and great written & verbal communication skills
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
