Responsibilities
Our HR team at NBCU partners with Corporate Finance leaders to shape the employee experience across our portfolio of Film, TV and Theme Parks businesses. We are looking for a motivated and energetic individual interested in a career in human resources to join the team as our HR Coordinator. You will work within a team of experienced HR professionals and partner with our clients and HR counterparts to deliver Human Resources initiatives on employee attraction, retention, performance and engagement.
• Own transactions in our HRIS systems including new hires, promotions, and terminations
• Field questions from employees and resolve day-to-day issues in conjunction with business partners such as Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, HR Operations, and Talent Acquisition
• Plan and coordinate logistics for training sessions and networking events
• Facilitate the hiring process, including creation and delivery of offer letters, completing background checks, communicating orientation logistics, and I-9 verifications
• Run reports in HR systems and use Excel to determine key metrics
• Exposure to employee relations and performance management issues in close conjunction with the VP, HR and HR Generalist
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in any field
• Experience working in a corporate environment, including internships
• Strong interest in a career in Human Resources
