Responsibilities
This position will have two major areas of focus. This person will both provide direction and help drive our Talent Strategies across the NBC Sports Group portfolio as well as work closely with the HR Business Partners in identifying individual, group and organizational development opportunities. This role will define, develop, implement, and evaluate strategies and programs to drive business goals and priorities forward. S/he will partner regularly with the following teams: Human Resources (HR), Talent Acquisition, Diversity and Inclusion (D&I), Sports Group business leaders, and additional corporate partners.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Partner with HR Business Partners to help leaders set strategy/accomplish strategic priorities, manage change, improve processes, redesign organizational structures, identify and coach key talent, and realign/shift people strategies, all with the broader goal of strategically improving the effectiveness of the organization
• Utilize data analytics to help Business and HR Business Partners develop programs needed to drive change for the organization
• Organize and steer key HR processes across the broader global HR team, including but not limited to, employee surveys, diversity initiatives, talent review, rewards and recognition programs, succession planning, compensation review, performance management, training nominations/process, and other development activities
• Support change management efforts through impact analysis, key stakeholder identification, communications planning, executive coaching and thought partnership
• Support talent planning efforts by facilitating calibration discussions and capturing themes across the division while also communicating outcomes of key talent initiatives quarterly to Senior HR leaders
• Form collaborative relationships with the NBCUniversal internal corporate university, the TalentLab; build on enterprise offerings to provide tailored approaches for the business that promotes a learning culture; including design and delivery of a suite of learning programs, vendor management, resources and budget allocation
• Participate in the ideation and organization of onsite employee events related to strategic initiatives (i.e. health & job fairs, development programs, volunteering opportunities, anti-harassment seminars, etc.)
• Partner with the Corporate Diversity & Inclusion and peer divisional diversity teams, along with NBCU's internal Employee Resource Groups to help build a D&I strategic plan for NBC Sports Group that is focused on continuing to create an inclusive and inviting culture within a diverse workforce
• Help design and facilitate executive off-sites, roundtables new manager assimilations and team development sessions.
• Provide HR generalist guidance/support to clients and/or manage junior members of HR staff as needed.
• Execute upon special projects/initiatives as needed
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field of study
• Minimum 8 years' experience in Organization Effectiveness Consulting / Learning / Coaching / Counseling

• Advanced Excel skills required along with strong data analysis
• Certifications in 360 feedback and related psychometric tools highly desired
• Experience developing a learning development curriculum and utilizing state of the art delivery methods for global learning options
• Demonstrated data and analytical skillsets and background in the HR function
• Branding or employee communications background is a strong advantage
• Wants to work in a fun, passionate, high energy, fast paced environment

• Self-starter that demonstrates leadership with or without formal authority through strong influencing skills
• Experience in translating talent development and OD methodologies into practical business applications
• Strong change management skills
