NBC News is seeking a Producer for its Business & Economy Unit. This role involves working closely with correspondents, reporters, producers, and editors to cover a wide range of topics such as business, consumer matters, the economy, and entertainment. The producer will handle all phases of production, from researching and scripting to field producing and editing for both TV and digital platforms.

Responsibilities:
• Pitch and develop day-of-air segments, original reporting, and long-form enterprise series.
• Write, shoot, and produce live and taped stories across platforms.
• Collaborate with editorial teams to ensure distinct, original content.
• Maintain awareness of key daily business, consumer, and economy stories.
• Build and maintain sourcing for relevant stories.
• Work from the office a minimum of three days per week (hybrid position).

Required Experience:
• Experience as a producer with a focus on business, economy, or consumer matters.
• Strong background in researching, writing, and shooting stories.
• Ability to review and comprehend economic data, such as inflation and jobs reports, and communicate it clearly to a broad audience.
