Responsibilities
NBC News is seeking a Photo Editor for a position at its headquarters in Rockefeller Center New York.
Job Duties:
â- Research, select and edit images for inclusion in stories published on digital platforms
â- Edit and compose captions and headlines for photos and galleries on digital platforms
â- Monitor news agency feeds to identify strongest images for breaking and developing news stories and work with social team to promote these
â- Work with cover producers and art directors to curate photos on NBCNews.com and MSNBC.com homepages with an eye towards overall design of page
â- Work with art directors to produce engaging and informative photo illustrations
â- Curate and produce photo galleries and oversee layout of photo-driven pieces
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements:
â- At least three years as a photo editor at a news organization
â- An undergraduate degree, preferably in Journalism, Political Science, or English
Additional Job Requirements:
