NBC Entertainment is seeking a Production Assistant to help support Late Night’s Writer’s Assistant and Associate Producer. This is a staff role with an expected duration of 12 – 18 months.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct real-time news research and gathering with a focus on politics and entertainment.
• Generate monologue joke set-ups in the style of news lede-writing.
• Perform miscellaneous research and internal database maintenance.
• Assemble script packets for table reads.

Basic Requirements:
• At least 1 year of production or internship-related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Willingness to work in New York, NY.
• Unrestricted work authorization in the United States.
• Ability to work weekends and nights as needed (Sundays).
