Job Description:

You can be part of the dynamic world of the WNBA with the Los Angeles Sparks. This position will definitely make an impact on you. The Coordinator works directly with the Corporate Partnerships and Community Relations teams. The Coordinator is responsible for leading and executing all activations. The Coordinator is also involved in the Sparks community affairs outreach and programming including players programs, community initiatives and activities that inspire fans and community members. This includes fulfilling all contractual elements with each client, including integrated signage, promotions, internet advertising, hospitality, tickets and all other marketing resources. This is a seasonal position with the Sparks.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Planning and executing day-to-day activation operations
• Tracking and assuring fulfillment of contractual obligations to Sparks partners
• Leads activation process to develop and grow current clients along with identifying new business opportunities
• Serves as liaison to neighbors and community partners
• Assists with planning and execution of various community programs and events including team, player, sponsor and WNBA community initiatives
• Runs all major deliverables (i.e. signage, print, promotional, entertainment elements, etc.) to ensure quality standards and that client expectations are met
• Assists in crafting community players program, leads event(s), logistics, group/organization selection, meet & greets
• Works with the sales team in finalizing agreements including developing strategic touchpoint plans for each partner
• Collaborates with other departments within the organization to strategically build positive publicity for the team
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Minimum of a 4-year Bachelor's degree or educational equivalent in Business Administration, or other closely related field
• Minimum of 1-3 years of sponsorship, community relations or related experience
• Strong personnel management, communication, social and time-management skills. Shown ability to multi-task and lead projects on strict deadlines
• Work in tandem with internal and external customers (residents, civic and business leaders, volunteers) with a positive customer service attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional image and demeanor

• Work requires flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed
