The Opportunity
We are seeking a Mobile Wifi Network Specialist to drive success for our quickly growing technology focused screening capabilities. This role will report directly into our IT Service Desk Manager, but provide support to the entire screenings department. You will provide on-site technology coordination for screenings for motion picture studios and other clients. The Role
-Basic management of a wireless network and corresponding tools at our screenings.
-Set-up wireless network inside the theater, monitor connectivity throughout screening, and troubleshoot any technology issues that arise
-Transport technology to and from screenings. Must be comfortable driving rental vehicle and/or have a vehicle large enough to transport equipment.
-Able to perform physical activities including moving of equipment (technology, office supplies, line management); some heavy lifting is required.
-Provide positive customer service for our clients and our audience for the entire screening process from start to finish.
-Assist with set-up and inventory of tablets upon arrival at the theater
-Assist with tablet troubleshooting efforts during the screening
-Work with client lead to set-up live in theater reporting dashboard and topline report
-Pull final survey reports from the local server upon completion of the screening
-Assist screening staff with administrative onsite tasks when necessary
Who You Are
-1+ years of relevant experience working with technology, specifically wireless networks.
-High School diploma or equivalent.
-Team player who is able to work collaboratively in a variety of functions, executing duties in accordance with training manuals.
-Strong customer service skills, with demonstrated ability to interact with large crowds in a courteous and professional manner and with minimal direct oversight.
-Successful management of time and multiple competing priorities in order to ensure deadlines are met.
-Excellent verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
-Must be able to stand and work on your feet for at least 90 minutes.
-Willing to work mostly evenings and weekends.
-Comfortable driving at night.
-Ability to multi task several times during work hours.
-Energetic, outgoing and personable.
-Remain calm under pressure.
-Must be able to maintain screening information confidentiality.

Ideal Candidate
-Comfortable around various forms of technology, servers, WAPs, tablets, laptops, printers and scanner, including set up, troubleshooting, assisting others with using, and set-up/breakdown.
-Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, comfort in learning new software.
-Strong interest in motion pictures and the entertainment industry is preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time, hourly position with possibility of transitioning to a full time role. Hours of work and days vary weekly, but will require evening (mostly Tues through Thurs) and weekend work.
Work Environment
This job mainly operates in movie theaters and screening rooms for recruited audience screenings. It will also require some in office work.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand for long periods of time; walk; reach with hands and arms. Being able to lift or move equipment that may weigh up to 50 lbs.
Dress Code
A uniform is required for this position.
-Company branded shirt or jacket
-Pants or skirts must be business-like in appearance, clean, and wrinkle free. Black and dark grey preferred, but tan / khaki are acceptable for pants.
-Name badge provided.
-Comfortable shoes that will allow you to stand for 2-3 hours
-No denim clothes (pants, skirts, etc.)/Black denim is acceptable
-No revealing clothing (i.e. mini skirts above mid-thigh, high slits, etc.)
-No baggy clothing
-No flip-flops or athletic shoes
Travel
Screenings are held from Ventura to Orange County including San Fernando and San Gabriel Valley, majority of the screenings take place in the Northwest Valley i.e. Sherman Oaks, Burbank, Northridge. Must have reliable transportation to the Burbank office. Possible out of town travel required a few times per year.
