JOB DESCRIPTION
Department/Group Overview:
This role will be part of a critical team leading the charge in aggressively growing our customer subscriptions and profitability. You will assist in driving strategy and execution across digital channels, plan and optimize our marketing budget, assess channel and campaign performance, and support a team who has responsibilities for day-to-day execution.
Job Summary:
The Manager for Paid Acquisition brings a wealth of knowledge in acquisition marketing operations and execution. You should have experience in digital marketing and be comfortable with subscription based services at scale. Your primary focus will be to build and roll out campaigns, track their performance closely, as well as test and scale programs that drive lead generation and subscriber acquisition and retention. This role requires a self sufficient, proactive, and detail oriented person.
Responsibilities
and Duties of the Role:
• Aid in the development of paid media and affiliate acquisition programs, while also trying into retention strategy and contributing to marketing strategy
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and agency on market-specific media and execution plans, including but not limited to US, UK, AU and NZ
• Leverage paid media channels to drive leads and subscribers, as well as improve subscriber engagement, referrals and revenue per subscriber- on site and app.
• Assist in crafting strategies to improve conversion rates at each step of the user flow.
• Help identify, experiment with, optimize and scale acquisition channels.
• Expand affiliate marketing efforts and impact
• Support budget management and execution of new customer acquisition strategy across digital marketing channels, including: Social, Search, Affiliate, Mobile, Display, Re-targeting, and Video advertising.
• Assist in creating A/B testing programs to maximize acquisition efforts and return.
• Monitor SEM campaign deliverables, including structuring and targeting improvements, keyword and audience expansion, landing page testing, search query mining, and improvement of the bid management process.
• Support communication with external performance marketing agencies for campaign development and optimization.
Required Education
, Experience/Skills/Training:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience running paid advertising for a B2C subscription product.
• Proven experience driving results on affiliate marketing, pay for performance models and mobile marketing campaigns
• Understanding of performance marketing including Google, Affiliate networks, video advertising, Facebook ecosystem and SEO with a proven track record of successfully executed campaigns.
• Experience in mobile app marketing and campaign management
• Ability to draw data/research insights with paid media applicability.
• Exceptional communication, presentation and relationship management skills.
• Flexibility and ability to work in a fast paced environment. Must be a self-starter
