JOB DESCRIPTION
National Geographic Partners (NGP) is seeking a Financial Analyst for its TV Programming financial planning team. The team is responsible for Financial Planning and Analysis for all Global TV Programming that airs on linear channels, Disney+, Hulu, and Star. The Analyst will work closely with colleagues to prepare budgets, forecasts, and supporting schedules tied to Programming.
Responsibilities:
• Maintaining and updating Programming schedules.
• Collaborating with business teams including Programming, Production Management, and Development to source inputs and keep information current.
• Create and present weekly updates to each TV business team as well as Finance.
• Actively help in updating budgets, forecasts, and schedules needed by our INTL Channels, Disney+, and Star teams globally.
• Assist in ad hoc analyses from Corporate Finance or Segment Reporting related to Programming and/or other related areas of the TV business.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Moderate to Advanced Excel User.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling and reporting skills.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• 1-2 years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, or related fields.
• Ability to evaluate quantitative data and present information in a concise, coherent manner.
• Experience with financial systems such as SAP is a plus.
