Our specialty finance platform provides cash-flow solutions across the entire life cycle and global distribution of intellectual property within the entertainment, media, and information sectors. We are seeking a highly motivated and well-connected Content Distribution Executive to join our team. As the ideal candidate, you will have 5+ years of digital distribution experience with a demonstrable track record of independently sourcing distribution partners and leading complex deal negotiations for streaming video partnerships. As Narrative is currently a world-class free-to-air broadcaster moving into digital and streaming, this could be your opportunity to make a massive impact on the firm.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain partnerships based on existing relationships with digital distribution platforms
2. Drive new opportunities with partners by sourcing prospects, pitching potential partners, modeling anticipated outcomes, negotiating deals, and managing ensuing relationships
3. Serve as the subject matter expert for distribution by managing, negotiating, and closing distribution agreements in a timely manner
4. Clearly define goals of internal distribution strategies with internal and external project teams
5. Support acquisitions by sourcing relationships with library owners to strengthen distribution

Basic Qualifications:

1. BA/BS degree with 5+ years of video partnership, distribution, and/or business development experience
2. Experience working directly with video distribution partners like Amazon, Roku, Pluto, and Tubi
3. Robust network of entertainment contacts, specifically in distribution; willingness and know-how to develop new relationships
4. Deep knowledge of streaming content distribution, specifically on ad-supported platforms
5. Understanding of technologies involved in creating distribution channels and the ability to translate that technical knowledge to the wider team
6. Executive acumen and ability to create pitch materials and present them
7. Open-minded and motivated to recommend changes to processes and procedures where this would result in a more effective service
8. Skills required: contract negotiation, financial modeling, leveraging data to make informed partnership decisions

Targeted OTE Salary Range: $100,000+

Target OTE is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, industry connections, and experience.
