It is a multi-faceted entertainment company and a leader in both casting and producing talent-driven content. In 2018, Katy and her partner Stephanie Bloch-Chambers partnered with Lionsgate to launch their production company Wallin-Chambers Entertainment. Within the last year they developed and packaged a slate of projects, and have set up deals at various networks including E!, Bravo, OWN, Lifetime, Amazon, and HBOMax. They have recently dropped season 2 of the seriesDe Viaje Con Los Derbez, on Pantaya/Amazon Prime, have 1 season out of HBOMax show, House of Ho, based on the popular film Crazy Rich Asians, and produced Going Garcia on AwesomenessTV/YouTube,
The social media intern will have the opportunity to collaborate and learn from the Social Media Coordinator to create content for platforms such as Tiktok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Clubhouse, etc. During the course of the internship, interns will learn how we create social media marketing campaigns for casting shows of different genres. Interns will observe how the campaigns change based on the needs of a particular show. Interns will also learn about the over marketing strategies of both companies' brand. Interns will acquire knowledge of proven strategies for increasing companies following across all platforms.
The goal of our intern/ambassador program is to give each intern the skills it takes to be hired in the entertainment industry upon completion of the internship program. The
Candidates will be proficient in writing, have experience crafting clean copy for social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok), familiarity with Google tools (docs, sheets, etc.), faceted in Adobe Creative Cloud, and ideas for how Mystic and WCE can continue to evolve with the modern internet landscape.
Daily Tasks Include:
• Research/Outreach
• Marketing/Advertising
• Social Media
• Photoshop
• Lightroom
• Canva
• Brainstorming Content
• Editing
• Writing
Internship Requirements
• Interns must be a registered University student and be able to receive school credit for internship
• Must be able to dedicate 16 hours a week for a minimum of 8 weeks
• All Candidates must be have their own laptop that they can bring to the internship
