What's the Job?
The Director of Accounts is a senior leader within Mustache, works within the Client Services Department, and reports to the Head of Client Services. You will serve at the helm of client relationship management within the company. In our quickly expanding organization, you will lead the building and development of the Accounts Team, with the core goal of driving agency growth by creating new and growing existing client relationships. You will guide Mustache's Account Executives to enhance their skills, effectiveness, and ability to win, manage, and grow client business. You will engage directly with clients on key opportunities and/or issue resolution. The Director of Accounts is responsible for ensuring that Mustache meets their annual revenue goals and the strategy to achieve such.
What's Will you Do?
- Oversee Mustache's Account Executives and all day-to-day client communication;
- Pursue and pitch new business with clients and prospects;
- Will initiate, plan and pitch for new AOR business;
- Manage the overall client relationship process by setting and delivering upon client expectations as well as partnering with clients to develop their goals and marketing strategies (while guiding AEs to do the same);
- Oversee the Account Executives' workload via tracking tools;
- Coordinate with the Head of Client services to delegate new clients to Account Executives;
- Lead cross-capability teams within our agency and clients' other partners to deliver creative thinking, digital strategy and powerful ideas that meet and exceed client objectives;
- Display powerful presentation skills that invite participation and effect desired outcomes;
- Use analysis to drive decisions in a way that yields sustained, measurable results;
- Serve as the voice of the client internally and the voice of the agency externally - and acting as the trusted voice of the customer by bringing insights into creative strategy and marketing program development;
- Lead short-term and long-term strategies in service of clients' growth and performance goals;
- Work amongst senior leadership team to set financial goals and plan for the future;
- Develop strategic account plans to grow client revenue by selling (up-sell / cross-sell) creative solutions and ideas in all Mustache Services, and work closely with Project Management and Finance teams in execution;
What Do You Need?
- 10-15 years of experience;
- Strong experience managing client relationships in digital content and video space;
- Comfortable with change and leaning into it. Curious and have a passion for finding the new and the next quickly learning in situations where you are not the expert;
- Strong leadership skills and ability to drive an integrated agency team focused in video;
- Superior analytical skills and strategic thinking - strong on both IQ and EQ, as adept at reading data as at reading client
