Communications & Operations Assistant

This is a Part Time Job

We're now looking for a Communications & Operations Assistant to join the team and support our day-to-day North America operations.

About the Role

This is an entry-level position focused primarily on communication, organization, and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes.

You don't need years of music industry experience or technical knowledge. We're looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, comfortable communicating with different people, and good at keeping track of the little things.

A big part of the role is simply helping our artists, partners, and team stay on the same page.

What You'll Be Doing
Communicating with artists and partners and helping answer everyday questions
Following up when we're waiting on information, files, artwork, or other details
Helping artists understand what they need to provide and when
Keeping track of upcoming releases and ongoing projects
Sharing updates with the team and making sure nothing gets missed
Helping resolve simple questions or issues as they come up
Keeping information organized across email, spreadsheets, and our internal tools
Supporting the day-to-day needs of our North America operations
Jumping in and helping the team with other tasks when needed

Previous music industry experience is not required. Experience in communications, customer service, administration, operations, or working with clients is a plus, but not necessary.

Familiarity with platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, or digital music distribution is also a bonus but we can teach you the things you need to know.

Working With Us

Because we're a smaller team, you won't feel like one person in a huge company. You'll work closely with the rest of Musichroma, communicate directly with the artists and partners we work with, and get exposure to different parts of the business as we continue to grow.

We like people who communicate openly, share updates, ask questions when they need help, and are happy to pitch in.

A lot of this role comes down to something pretty simple: good communication, good organization, and making sure everyone has what they need.
