Graphic Designer

This is a Full Time Job

This position is responsible for all graphic pre/post-production required in the creation of topical on-air promotions. Duties include implementing, executing and maintaining the approved design tools; creating requested graphics; including print/online, consulting with Producers on creative direction; designing package elements; troubleshooting Macintosh issues; and maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of graphics trends and developments.

Qualification Requirements
Education / Experience – This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field. A minimum of 2 plus years experience in broadcast graphics design is needed. Proven skill in utilizing Adobe AfterEffects, PhotoShop, and Illustrator in a Mac environment is necessary. 3-D software experience is a plus.

Language / Communication – Good oral and written communication skills are required. Bilingual Spanish/English is a must.

Other Skills / Requirements – Good organizational and project management skills are required. Superior attention to detail is needed. Strong design and typography skills are necessary. Knowledge of professional and collegiate sports is preferred. The ability to multitask while maintaining creative design direction under daily deadline pressure is essential. A proven ability to solve problems and work with little supervision is required.
