Video Editor Specializing in Restoration
Multicom Entertainment Group is seeking a Video Editor Specializing in Restoration to facilitate the process of global film and television distribution. This position is ideal for enthusiastic workers harboring a deep passion for film and TV, and an interest in learning the details of distribution.
You will become a part of a welcoming office setting that offers you the opportunity to involve yourself with an extensive, far-reaching area of the film industry. The Video Editor Specializing in Restoration will primarily be responsible for processing all deliveries of TV and Movies to support the worldwide distribution of the Multicom library. With hundreds of titles ranging anywhere from historic television shows to modern cult classics, maintaining the daily operations and project management is crucial to the ongoing success and growth of Multicom.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Expert in Adobe Premiere
Editorial responsibilities involve non-creative editing, minor color correction, repairing analog and digital video artifacts.
A detailed eye on Quality Control with great organizational skills
At least 3 years' experience in video editorial
Ability to learn new software swiftly and efficiently
Work well with others and a passion for film/tv preservation
Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Slack
Understand media file formats, various video standards, tape formats (HDCAM, D5, DBC, D2) and codecs. Material ranges from SD to 4k.
Hopes and Dreams:
Adobe Creative Suite ex. Photoshop and Audio suites
DaVinci Resolve experience
Experience with Aspera and FTP Transfers
Knowledge of Spanish or any other foreign language helpful.
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: Varies based on experience
This is a full-time, long term position (40 hours a week; Monday to Friday). Candidates must be in the greater Los Angeles, area. You may work remotely, at our office or hybrid. Comprehensive benefits package and 401K available.
