Are you passionate about television and ready to dive into the industry? Join Mucho Mas Media, a fast-growing independent studio committed to telling culturally authentic, globally resonant stories with a strong focus on Latino voices. While we work across both film and TV, this internship is centered on the television side, where you'll help support our team as we actively build out a bold, diverse, and exciting TV slate across scripted and unscripted.
This internship offers a unique, hands-on opportunity to work closely with our TV executive team, gaining real-world experience in the creative development and production process.
As a TV Development Intern, you will:
• Read and provide thoughtful coverage on incoming TV scripts & books
• Participate in creative brainstorms and provide feedback on projects in development
• Assist in tracking current projects by maintaining development grids and spreadsheets
• Help build and update pitch decks and presentation materials
• Maintain internal writer, director, and talent lists
• Research industry trends, comps, and rising creators
• Support general development duties as assigned
• Work closely under the guidance of two TV executives, gaining firsthand insight into the development process
We're looking for:
• Prior experience with script coverage (academic or professional)
• Clear, confident communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Google Suite, Dropbox, and basic office tools, familiarity with Canva, Keynote, or PowerPoint is a plus
• A self-starter who works well independently but thrives on collaboration
• Bonus: Spanish fluency!
Please note that this is an unpaid internship. Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
Start/end dates and internship hours are flexible, but we do request that you are able to work a minimum of 3 days per week. Looking for interns to start in June and ideally work until August. Look forward to meeting you!! :)
